Shakira Westdorp Winter SUP Sessions In Australia

It’s no secret by now that Shakira Westdorp is one of the best female SUP surfers in the world. She’s got loads of talent and a big bag of tricks. Heck, she even makes it looks easy (which it isn’t).  With it being in the middle of winter in Australia, Shakira decided to escape the busy lineups in her hometown of northern New South Wales and head 100km’s south to find a couple uncrowded beach breaks. Jobe Watersports announced the details of its “SUP 2 The People” demo tour. The tour will launch on July 17, in Coronado, California. It includes stops in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington and Oregon before finishing on August 21 in Santa Barbara, California.

Annual Stand Up For Littles Paddle Set to Raise Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters Program

On July 23, eighteen paddle boarders will set out to complete a round trip paddle to the Isles of Shoals as part of the event called the Stand Up for Littles IOS Invitational. As a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire (BBBSNH), the charity paddle to the island chain, which is located approximately 6 miles off the New Hampshire coast, has become a staple in the Northern New England paddle board scene, and a bucket list event for many.
