Annual Stand Up For Littles Paddle Set to Raise Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters Program

On July 23, eighteen paddle boarders will set out to complete a round trip paddle to the Isles of Shoals as part of the event called the Stand Up for Littles IOS Invitational. As a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire (BBBSNH), the charity paddle to the island chain, which is located approximately 6 miles off the New Hampshire coast, has become a staple in the Northern New England paddle board scene, and a bucket list event for many.

Trash Hero, Starboard & WeSUP Team Up To Clean Bangkok

Did you ever think collecting trash could be so much fun? With the help of over 200 people, the areas of Bang Phli, around Wat Laung Por Toh Temple and the surrounding river were cleaned. 2,500kg of trash was collected, filling one and a half garbage trucks!

Leading Shark Scientists Confirm Shark Shield’s Effectiveness

An independent peer reviewed research paper, published in the international science journal PLOS ONE has confirmed Shark Shield as an effective shark deterrent. The research was conducted over a two and half year period at a cost of $680,000, funded by the Western Australian State Government as part of its investment in Shark Hazard Mitigation, following a spate of shark attacks in 2012.

SUPKids Head To Noli SUP Race

After a successful launch on World Oceans Day and joining the Starboard SW Tiki Tour across California, Arizona & New Mexico, the SUPKids team are heading to Noli, Italy to run the first European SUPKids training program. They’ll be joining forces with the Noli SUP Race to run a 2-day training program for the founding SUPKids Delivery Centres in Europe. The training will take place on the 13 & 14 July, prior to the official start of the Noli event.
