With the arrival of March, water temperatures are rising and the start of the standup paddleboard season in North Carolina's SUP hub is underway.

Coastal Paddle Company Presents the 2nd Annual Five Flags Paddleboard Classic.  Sponsors and applicants are currently being accepted for the community standup paddleboard race event at The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach - Pensacola, Fla.

The International Surfing Association will be hosting the Second Annual World Stand Up Paddle and Paddleboard Championships in Miraflores, Lima, Peru beginning today February 24, 2013 and lasting through March 2, 2013.

Many of the worlds best SUP surfers and racers will converge at Santa Cruz's infamous Steamer Lane March 22-24 to test their skill at the legendary point break.

In an attempt to make a palpable impact against alzheimer's, and feel like they can make a positive contribution in honor of their family members, Bret and his friends have decided to hold the first annual Stand Up To Alzheimer’s sup races and sup/kayak fishing contest.

February 23rd & 24th is the NZ National SUP Festival at Orewa Beach. ·This 3rd annual Battle of the Paddle style event will be an exciting two-day race and is suitable for all levels of paddlers.

This month there are a slew of very exciting stand up paddle events to keep an eye on! One that is quickly approaching is the Quiksilver Waterman Southeast Series.
