SUPKids Launches in L.A. to Teach Kids Environmental and Water Safety

his year, 1,798 Americans will have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy ongoing outdoor experiences, thanks to prAna Explorer Grants. As part of these nationwide grants, Environmental Charter Schools received $5,000 to support its work to engage 120 students from Environmental Charter Middle School in SUPKids Camp that teaches kids water safety and environmental education outdoors with stand up paddle boarding.

SUPkids Camp in Inglewood Receives prAna Explorer Grant

SUPKids Head To Noli SUP Race

After a successful launch on World Oceans Day and joining the Starboard SW Tiki Tour across California, Arizona & New Mexico, the SUPKids team are heading to Noli, Italy to run the first European SUPKids training program. They’ll be joining forces with the Noli SUP Race to run a 2-day training program for the founding SUPKids Delivery Centres in Europe. The training will take place on the 13 & 14 July, prior to the official start of the Noli event.

Starboard & SUPKids Teach Kids How To Take Care Of The Planet

This World Oceans Day sees the official launch of SUPKids, an educational program for 5-12 year olds designed to teach kids SUP, water safety & environmental education. Starboard & SUPKids are now rolling the program out globally, and looking for SUP schools, stores & athletes who would be interested in becoming SUPKids delivery centres.
