Australians Excel And Upsets Occur On Day 1 Of Sapinus Pro Tahiti

Another beautiful morning in Tahiti saw the 2015 #SapinusPro Main Event called on with the swell on the rise. Athletes were able to let loose in some unpredictable, but rippable surf. It was certainly a day for the Australians as all six of the crew from Down Under advanced through to Round 3.

Sapinus Pro Tahiti Kicks Off To Exciting Action, Hawaiian Keali’i Mamala Wins Trials

After a 2 year hiatus from the beautiful Island Chain of Tahiti, the Stand Up World Tour marked its return to the islands today with the completion of the Air Tahiti Nui Trials of the 2015 #SapinusPro in great conditions. In the end, it was the Hawaiian, Keali'i Mamala who took the honors in a tightly contested final, picking off the best set waves and driving smooth, but powerful turns on his way to victory.

USA Claims Double Gold In SUP Surfing At ISA World Championship

The right-hand break of Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico offered consistent surf for the final day of SUP Surfing as part of the 2015 ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championship presented by Hotel Kupuri. 15-Year-Old Izzi Gomez and 25-Year-Old Sean Poynter showcase youth strength for Team USA by both winning a gold medal.

Bart de Zwart Visits Ethiopia On His World SUP Excursion

Starboard SUP ambassador Bart de Zwart recently set off on an incredible adventure around the world, what he calls 'The Ultimate Crossing.' During this excursion, Bart seeks to explore unseen places one normally wouldn't see or hear of, and he is exploring all of these places while on his SUP. His most recent stop took him to Ethiopia.
