Bart de Zwart Embarks On Marquesas Expedition

Expedition warrior Bart de Zwart embarked on the first leg of his Marquesas Islands crossing on April 17, 2018. The Starboard athlete flew to the islands from Tahiti, landing in Hiva Oa to begin his exciting solo journey.

The Air France Paddle Festival took Tahiti by storm, with one of the most intense races the sport has seen. Around 300 paddlers came out to participate in the 8k Lagoon Race, 24k Elite Race, and 4k Fun Race, alongside a huge crowd of local supporters from the community that joined in on the action.

Top Athletes & Live Webcast Slated For 2016 Air France Paddle Festival

The 2016 Air France Paddle Festival kicks off this weekend and it’s expected to be epic. Top athletes in stand up paddle (SUP) racing have arrived in Tahiti and are preparing for what is to be an awesome day of racing not only in the South Pacific, but also, over the globe. Kai Bates SUP Surfs Tidal Bore In Papua New Guinea

Australian stand up paddler Kai Bates recently went on an amazing trip to Papua New Guinea to take a chance at riding the tidal bore that frequents the river Digul in West Papua New Guinea. After a two-day plane trip, eight hour car rides and long boat journeys Kai made it to the river and had a blast. Watch the video from his trip here.
