Nosara Paddlesurf Celebrates Women With Special SUP Surf Camp

Nosara Paddlesurf, a SUP surf coaching company that offers camps in Nosara, Costa Rica, will be hosting a women-specific camp January 6-13, 2018. Throughout the year, Nosara Paddlesurf offers a variety of all-level weeklong SUP surf camps that give guests the opportunity to improve their SUP and SUP surf skills through surf-specific movement training, on-the-water coaching, theory lessons, and video feedback.

Master Of The Ocean 2016 Video Highlights

Zane Schweitzer Three Peats At 2016 Master Of The Ocean

After a weeklong event here in Cabarete, Dominican Republic it is Hawaiian Zane Schweitzer who has just won the 2016 Master of the Ocean for the third consecutive year. Zane was on a tear all week and performed well across all four disciplines (SUP, Kite, Surf, Windsurf) earning him the title of Master of the Ocean for the third year in a row.

After an insanely fun welcoming party with great food, company and live music, a beautiful morning greeted competitors and spectators on the first day of competition at the 2016 master of the ocean. With a solid swell providing overhead surf in the water the competitors were eager to get wet and get the competition started.

Crazy Or Courageous: Man Attempting To Cross The Atlantic On A SUP

In January 2016 Nicolas Jarossay, a 38 year-old French paddler, will be making an attempt to be the first person to cross the Atlantic Ocean, solo and unsupported, on a stand up paddle board. Jarossay plans to paddle over 2,500 miles (4500 kms)over two to three months, from Cape Verde to Martinique.
