Father to Paddle 200 Miles to Raise Awareness for Rare Disease

In July 2016, Rich Wygand’s first child, Luke, was born with a rare genetic disorder causing severe muscle weakness called Nemaline Myopathy (NM). Rich is planning to paddle 200 miles on his stand up paddle (SUP) board from Lake Worth Beach to Key West, Florida in June of 2018 in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the rare disease that affects his son.

Carine Camboulives and Manu Bouvet are professional board riders based in Maui, Hawaii. For the last 15 years they've been searching for the perfect spot all over the world. Today, together with their two daughters, Lou & Shadé (9 & 3 years old) they fulfill their appetite of discovery and their love for nature also by raising awareness on environmental challenges.

Paddle Boarding The Coast of Big Sur

Big Sur is one of the most beautiful and desolate stretches of coastline in the world. Big Sur is a beautiful place to visit, especially via paddle board, but be wary, the waters off of Big Sur are home to a ton of great whites. Last month, on August 11 & 12, a diverse team of six men decided to tackle a two-day trip along the coast and explore the beauty that it has to offer.
