Paddle Board Highlights
Who is it for?
If you’re a beginner paddler looking for an affordable inflatable paddle board, check out the Aztron Lunar. This SUP is lightweight, has great graphics and is less than $500 USD / € 399. The board comes fully loaded with everything you need to get on the water. Along with the board itself, the package includes a 3-piece paddle, leash, center fin, double action pump, attached bungee cords for on-board storage and a matching bag to carry everything. The Lunar is best for short distance paddling, along the shore or near the dock and will work best for paddlers under the 250 lb mark.
First Impressions
The Lunar inflatable SUP is one of Aztron’s all around board models that features a double chamber, ultra-light technology. This feature is very uncommon for boards in the same price range as the Lunar and is definitely something to note. The Lunar has a beautiful teal design with a galaxy graphics as well at the nose, with pink accents, that would be perfect for females (or anyone who loves pops of pink) or a great size for a kid. Because of the smaller size of the board, it does somewhat limit it to paddlers that are of smaller stature, however, Aztron does claim it can hold up to 265 lbs/ 120kg. So, if you are a larger paddler, you might want to size up to make paddling a bit more comfortable and give you a bit more stability. This board was incredibly easy weighing just over 16 lbs. When getting on the board in the water, despite the shortness of the board, it was actually pretty stable; the glide felt average and it was really easy to turn. You can tell by the way it was made that it’s definitely good for a beginner board and something the family can all enjoy on the water.
