5. SUP Adventurer Paddles 1800km In Exploration Of The Amazon River

In September 2015, UK paddler Charlie Head departed the United Kingdom and headed to Peru, to the primary source of the Amazon River, a glacier that is 4000 meters up in the Andes Mountains. From there, he embarked on an eight week paddle along 1800km of the Amazon to Iquitos, taking in whitewater, equipment catastrophes and one of his trademark animal rescues. Searching for Sero is a mental wellness project created by John Rathwell and Tracy Guenard. 1. Connor Baxter Claims Victory In Red Bull Heavy Water & Secures 2016 World Title

The first ever Red Bull Heavy Water stand up paddle board race saw optimal weather conditions with sunny skies and challenging conditions of 6-8ft waves in San Francisco on Wednesday. 15 of the world’s best watermen were tasked to a grueling 12km (7.5 miles) battle of athleticism, with the ultimate victor Connor Baxter, 22, of Maui, HI, crowned Champion of Red Bull Heavy Water.
