Supconnect Appoints Alex Mauer As Community Assistant

SAN DIEGO, California - Supconnect proudly welcomes Colorado-based SUP river surfer, Alex Mauer, to the official staff crew. On 3/17/2014, Alex officially accepted the position of 'Community Assistant', and will now act as the glue that binds community members to the website and editorial team.
Alex brings a wealth of enthusiasm, skill and knowledge to the table. "This is a very special day for us, for our greatest Supconnect user and contributor, who has been sharing the stoke through Supconnect since at least 2010, is now an official member of the team. We wish this to be yet another great step in our very special and always growing relationship," said Andre Niemeyer, owner and founder of Supconnect.
In addition to being supconnect's eyes and ears on the website's community, Alex will be attending events through the year both as a competitor and a Supconnect ambassador. "I'm so stoked to work with such a solid team of people who have such an impact on the SUP world. I have been working with and supporting SUPconnect for so long, it is a dream come true to be working for the company!" Alex said.
