SIC Maui Signs Andrew Logreco To The National Team

SAN CLEMENTE, California - SIC (Sandwich Islands Composites) Maui announces the signing of Andrew Logreco to the National Team. “Andrew is a well respected waterman, athlete and all around good person,” said Jeff Baillargeon, SIC Brand Manager. “We are stoked to welcome him to the SIC Ohana!”

Logreco joins the ranks of the SIC National Team and will be competing in the prestigious M2O, the planned Red Bull Heavy Water event, and The Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge. In addition he will compete in several regional events on the islands such as Surf and Sea SUP, The Na Pali Paddleboard Race, Da Hui 4th of July Race, and the Standup World Series Finals.

Some of Logreco’s accomplishments include:

• 1st Place, 2014 Hawaiian Paddleboard Championships
• 1st Place, Dukes Fest Race 2014
• 2nd Place 2014 Da Hui 4th of July race
• 1st Place, Stock Class 14’0” 2010/2011 M2O (top 10 overall)
• 2nd Place, 2013 World Series Turtle Bay 12’6”
• 3rd Place, 2012 World Series, Turtle Bay 12’6”

Logreco is a consummate waterman and North Shore lifeguard. Long regarded as one of Stand Up Paddling’s greatest dark horses, Logreco has shared podiums with some of the top names in competitive paddling and is regarded as one of the fastest stock board paddlers in the world. Typically racing on 12’6” or 14’0”, Logreco has gained notoriety for his humble smile and fierce competitive edge, often times outpacing the leaders in the unlimited class.
