M2O Race Set For Tomorrow!

HAWAII, United States - Tomorrow, Sunday, July 27 2014, the highly anticipated Molokai-2-Oahu race will commence. The “M2O” race as it is better known, brings together a group of elite athletes from over 20 countries to paddle the 32-mile race from the north shore of Molokai to the south shore of Oahu.

The M2O race will see traditional prone paddleboarding and standup paddleboarding cross the extremely deep and rough Ka’iwi Channel between Molokai and Oahu.

This iconic race will see defending SUP Champion Travis Grant (FCS) work to claim another title while local Hawaiians Kai Lenny (Naish), Connor Baxtor (Starboard), and Dave Kalama join in on the hunt to chase Travis for the title.

Current Women’s SUP Champion, Terrene Black will return for a chance at another win, but it won’t come easy with Jenny Kalmbach and Andrea Moller (SIC) on her tail.

Tomorrow should be a very exciting race and will be a well-deserved win for the elites who dare to take part in the M2O Race. We look forward to seeing who will come out on top!
