Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. It’s the perfect place to be introduced to the sport as a spectator, it’s a great place to learn and try new products, and it’s also a great way to connect with those who enjoy the sport just as much as you do. July 2019 Paddle Boarding Events

 

Da Hui Paddleboard Race

da hui raceCome out to the 41st Annual Da Hui Paddle Race. Check out the Event Info page for more information and Register today! There will be both a short and long course on offer for the event. The short course is from Sunset Beach to Waimea Bay (4 miles) and the long course is from Turtle Bay Resort to Waimea Bay (7 miles).

Battle Royale Head to Head SUP Sprint

battle royaleBattle Royale is a head-to-head SUP Sprint on the lower pond of the USNWC. The sights and sounds of the USNWC’s Fourth of July Celebration will provide the backdrop as participants navigate various buoys and currents in a tournament style bracket. This beginner friendly race (race registration includes the Stand-up Paddleboard and all equipment needed) is a perfect opportunity to add some friendly competition into the holiday weekend. Please note that participants will not be allowed to utilize their own personal boards.

Prague Paddle Fest

prague paddle festNow in its 5th year the EuroTour is the biggest stand up paddle tour of its kind. Created in 2015 with the sole aim of unifying events and making them accessible to the athletes with logistics and support. From flat water, to rivers, inner-cities, ocean waves, downwinders, lakes, beaches, islands and seas there's an event for everyone. Backdropped against some of the most iconic scenery in Europe - and beyond.

Lovely Laurel River Lake Paddle

lovely laurelThe Lovely Laurel River Lake Paddle Blast is the ultimate Appalachian Beach Party! The event features a treasure hunt, Kentucky Waterman Series paddlesports races , volleyball tourney, food, and more! Picturesque Laurel River Lake’s Spillway Beach and the surrounding Daniel Boone National Forest serves as the base camp for all of the Paddle Blast’s activities.

YTY SUP Yoga Teacher Training

yoga trainingLauren created Yoga to You PDX because she wanted yoga to feel accessible to every individual and body type. She recognized in her practice that beginning yogis often find themselves trying poses and not speaking up when the pose hurts or feels wrong in their body. Lauren believes that yoga is a way of life. Her love of yoga is infused in every aspect of her world including in her interactions with family and friends.

Standup For the Cure

sup 4 cureStandup for the Cure is building a compassionate, empathetic, nationwide community to foster a healthy lifestyle while raising money and awareness for early breast cancer detection, research, treatment, and education. More than just a paddling event, we are a movement. Since 2012 we've been uniting paddlers, fitness enthusiasts, yoga practitioners and the breast cancer community from California to Florida and Michigan to Washington in an effort to save lives!

Battle of the Coast

battle of the coastThe Battle of the Coast in The Netherlands is an international known Stand Up Paddle board event were water athletes from first timers till pro’s compete against each other in various beach race formats. The Battle of the coast will be held at The Spot Watersport center & Beach club in Zandvoort and the weekend will feature 3 technical and distance races for both pro and fun athletes; The NK Beach race, downwinder and sprint.

SUP Alps Trophy

sup alpsMany SUP racers already want to plan their competition schedule. What does the SUP Alps Trophy 2019 offer? There are still five events, two new ones as partner events on Lake Wolfgang and Lake Constance. There are almost no changes in the rules, except that the ladies get their own start at Long Distance.

XI SUP Race Lac de Joux

lac de jouxFor the 6th edition, Alps SUP is waiting for you for this major Stand Up Paddle Revent. And as usual, it's on Lake Joux Abbey! The two day event will feature individual or team races including both running and paddle boarding relays. The SUP Race Lac de Joux is also a great event for young and old, entertainment or simply the opportunity to eat and drink one among friends.

Revelstoke Paddlesport Challenge

revelstoke challengeJoin us on one of these paddlesport events to paddle part or all of this three-day, 125 journey following in the wake of David Thompson on the Columbia River now known as Lake Revelstoke. The course parallels highway 23 between the snow capped Selkirk and Monashee mountains. It begins at Mica Creek, 147 km north of Revelstoke, and ends at the 5 mile boat launch near Revelstoke Dam about 10 km north of Revelstoke. In Category 1 there are 6 mandatory portages most of which are on parts of the old “Big Bend” road between the lake and highway 23. We acknowledge that the course is in the Secwépemc peoples territory and we thank them for allowing us to use their lands and waters.

San Clemente Ocean Fest

sc ocean festThe San Clemente Ocean Festival remains a family oriented event with a wholesome atmosphere for families to enjoy as either spectators or participants. Today, the event attracts nearly 50,000 people annually from around the world. The event offers everything from beach runs to SUP sprint races and is a weekend-long event that the whole family can enjoy.

Bootshauscup

BootshauscupThe Canoeing Race at KCB provides a hub for all SUP paddlers in the area to meet and paddle like-minded people. In addition, we will once again be hosting a SUP race on the Enz this year. We start on Friday from 17 clock with two SUP workshops for interested beginners and advanced. It will explain you the basics of the technique and give tips for a good start on the board. About 10 people can take part in the beginner workshop.

Windermere SUP Cup

windemere sup cupThe SEVENTH ANNUAL Windermere SUP Cup, hosted by Windermere Real Estate, is a stand-up paddleboard competition on the Clark Fork River in Missoula, Montana. The event features two races, the Recreational and Elite divisions. Recreational participants will be competing for various prizes and Elite will battle to be the top dog for the jackpot. Following the race we will host a MONTANA LUAU with music, drinks, food and prizes!

Paddle Battle Long Island

paddle battle long islandOur race begins on the beautiful Peconic River in Riverhead NY, {check out the Google map race track). This is an excellent location for our assorted race courses designed for all skill levels. The Riverhead Foundation is hosting this fun filled day of races to help raise money for the not-for-profit NY Marine Rescue to save the turtles.

Cape Cod Bay Challenge

cape cod challengeThe Cape Cod Bay Challenge (CCBC) is the oldest and most recognized standup paddle (SUP) event in the Northeast. After 10 years of paddling across Cape Cod Bay, in 2018, we mixed it up a bit and our course was a 22-mile coastal course starting at Scusset Beach and ending at Duxbury Beach. It was an awesome paddle and in 2019 we plan to do it again. The 2019 CCBC will start at either Scusset Beach or Nantasket Beach and end at Duxbury Beach. The location of the start will be decided about a week out from the event and will be based on the forecast weather and wind (looking to have the wind at our backs if possible).

Molokai 2 Oahu (M2O)m2o

Founded in 1997, M2O is an open-ocean endurance paddleboard challenge, featuring racers in both the prone and stand-up (SUP) divisions. Connecting the islands of Moloka’i and O’ahu, the 32-mile race crosses the Ka’iwi Channel, also known as the Moloka’i Channel. Men and women from more than 20 countries face challenging conditions as they navigate the fastest downwind route over one of the deepest channels in the world. The annual race is a deeply personal experience, challenging every paddler’s physical and mental toughness. Every finisher experiences an individual championship.
