DESTIN, Florida – The 6th Annual Paddle at the Porch, a stand up paddle board race, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 19, in the beautiful emerald green Gulf waters behind The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House in Destin, Florida. It offers races for all skill and age levels, with its Kids’ Fun Paddle, 1-Mile Beginner Ride, 3-Mile Recreational Race, and 6-Mile Elite Race.
The weekend fun begins on Friday, Aug. 18, with the Packet Pick Up Party at The Back Porch. It continues on Saturday morning with the races, which have staggered start times, beginning at 9 a.m. Racers and spectators alike will enjoy the festive atmosphere with displays and booths set up along the beach. The event will conclude with awards.
